Artifact Amulet by Kathryn Designs

I was so excited to see my amulet necklace worn by "Mia" on Episode 12, Season 5 of The Vampire Diaries! In the episode titled, "The Devil Inside", Mia (played by Taylor Treadwell) is a traveler witch who casts a spell to place Katherine into the body of Elena.  She wears my necklace while casting this devious spell.

I created this unique necklace to have the appearance of any ancient, magical amulet.  I used Goldie Bronze metal clay and a gorgeous smoky quartz stone.  Thank you to The Artisan Group for this amazing opportunity!

Finally unpacked, settled in, and ready to get back to work after moving to Marietta, GA!  After arranging and rearranging several times, I love my new studio.  It is bright with big windows. I would post a picture, but it is already a little too messy to be seen!

In the midst of settling in, I finished up 100 necklaces that will be gifted to celebrities attending The GBK Gift Lounge for The 2013 Primetime Emmys nominees and presenters, via The Artisan Group. My jewelry will also be displayed in the gift lounge!  Here is a peek at my display pieces:

Goddess Bracelets for celebrity mothers, Mother's Day 2013

Goddess Bracelet with amazonite, Swarovski crystals, gold filled beads, and metal clay charm

In keeping with my love of Goldie Bronze metal clay, I created these lovely bracelets using some amazing Amazonite beads.  I love the summery, fresh shade of blue in these beads!  The Goddess Athena charms were created using metal clay.  These bracelets were gifting to so many fabulous celebrity moms via The Artisan Group, I can barely believe it!  I am so excited about this opportunity and I hope to see my bracelet out and about in Hollywood, or anywhere for that matter :)
